Bolo Man
This bola man sculpture was carved from Fossilized Walrus Jawbone by Brian Ashmore at Ekemo Studios in Eagle River, AK. With Bola is a type of throwing weapon made of weights on the ends of interconnected cords. It is used by natives to capture animals, such as birds, by entangling their legs.
